Before I even get started with this review, I will have you know that the KWA KMP9 is one of the best airsoft guns I have ever had the pleasure of using. Before I even picked up the gun I noticed how drop dead beautiful (for a gun) it was. The design is truly awesome. Fitting naturally in the hand, and having a good weight made it very comfortable to carry around and use on the field. The charging handle was very satisfying to rack back. There was a good clink and crash sound when it was released. Does not change the performance of the player or the gun at all, but was a good touch nonetheless.

On to performance. Simply stated, this thing is a beast. Coming in at a whopping 380 fps, you might have trouble getting into a CQB arena. There is a low power bolt available that will drop the FPS by about 50, making it legal in many more CQB arenas. Th power in this gun makes 0.20g bbs fly all over the place, but once outfitted with 0.25g bbs this little gun has a field battle worthy range. Human sized targets are hard to miss out to 100ft.

This small beast of a gun is one of the best gas SMGs on the market. The sound of it firing could cause all but the most serious airsofters on the enemy team to run away. Completely recommended and totally worth the  $250 price tag.
